I’m a 25-year-old travel junkie from Madison, Wisconsin, and I’ve been seeing the world since I was tiny enough to waddle around.

My cruise obsession took off when I was just eight years old aboard the Disney Magic (best childhood memory ever!)

Fast forward to today, and I’ve turned that early love of cruising into a full-on passion for sharing the best ports, excursions, and insider tips with fellow travelers.

My Journey

Back in 2020, life threw a curveball: my London study abroad got canceled. Rather than stay bummed, I decided to chase my travel-blogging dream.

That’s when I launched my first site, Ellie’s Travel Tips, all about practical and fun travel advice.

But I wanted to go deeper into my cruising obsession, so I created Cruise Ports—your go-to spot for all things port-related, from hidden gems to must-try shore excursions.

Why Cruise Ports?

Cruising is more than just hopping on a ship—it’s about experiencing every destination to the fullest.

I’ve visited nearly every country in the Western Hemisphere (working on the rest!), and my greatest adventure so far was a 30-day cruise from Miami, winding through the Panama Canal, all the way to the tip of South America.

My goal with Cruise Ports? To make sure you squeeze every ounce of magic out of your own port days.
